For a while now I’ve heard about the $35K Off-Menu Tesla Model 3. There’s forum posts here and there about how to order it. Details of what features aren’t included, have been scattered. This video goes into great detail about what features are, and aren’t included. This “off-menu” offering is essentially the “Standard Range” model.

Elon Musk just tweeted they are currently scouting locations for the Cybertruck Gigafactory. He mentions in will be central USA. Does that mean Texas based on a previous tweet from him? Tesla’s original plan was to start Cybertruck production for deliveries beginning in late 2021. It will be a tight turn around. They need to secure property, build a factory, and get everything up and running for manufacturing.
The Ontario Provincial Police Highway Safety Division posted this rendering of a Cybertruck Police vehicle as well as a Model X. There’s already a few police stations using the Model S as well as the Model 3 as part of their squad car fleet. The Cybertruck could prove to be the most versatile. I would vote the Cybertruck over the Model X for police use.
This is the Audi AI Trail Quattro. It represents Audi’s take on what the future of recreational, all terrain vehicles will be. But how far into the future? It’s a cool, interesting design, but almost certainly another over the top concept that won’t see production. At least nowhere near it’s current design form. While dropping off our Tesla Model X for ceramic coating, there was already a black Model X in the shop getting a chrome delete and a matte finish clear wrap. The full blackout look gives a sleek look in my opinion.
