LEGO Bugatti

Quite simply, a full scale LEGO Bugatti.  LEGO decided to back up their statement for their LEGO Technic series about “Build for Real”.  The vision?  They had a team build a 1:1 scale of the Bugatti Chiron.  The LEGO built car can even drive and is powered by LEGO Technic Power Function motors.  This makes your typical LEGO set build look extremely elementary.

The Build

This build was done at the LEGO facility in Kladno, part of the Czech Republic.  Designers at this facility specialize in creating complex models that are displayed at Lego stores and the LEGOLAND theme parks across the world.  For this project they had a core team of 16 individuals.  These individuals logged over 13,000 hours to create the car, one piece at a time.
